Refund and Cancellation Policy

If you wish to withdraw and receive a tuition refund, you may request cancellation in writing to the Training Manager.  Any tuition monies due the student shall be refunded within 30 days from receipt of the written notice. The following applies as a minimum policy.

1. If a student has not attended half of the course, an enrollment may be cancelled by a student within two (2) calendar days after midnight of the day of which the student attended less than half of the course.
2. From two (2) calendar days after the day of which the student attended less than half of the course until (30) calendar days after the completion of less than half of the course, UpRisers Incorporated, herein referred to as $50 Online, Self Study & Instructor0led Courses, is entitled to the registration fee in the amount of $29.95.
3. After the (30) calendar day period,  if the student requests cancellation, $50 Online, Self Study & Instructor-led Courses shall be entitled to the registration fee of the paid amount and tuition which will not exceed the amount of tuition paid along with the registration fee(s) paid: 
4. If the student completes more than half of the course,  $50 Online, Self Study & Instructor-led Course shall be entitled to the full tuition. The amount of the course completed shall be the completed lesson assignments received for service by  $50 Online, Self Study & Instructor0led Courses as compared to the total lesson assignments in the course. To obtain a refund for books and learning materials they must be sent in resalable condition within thirty (30) days of Notice of Cancellation. If books and materials are not all returned within thirty (30) days, or are not in resalable condition, $50 Online, Self Study & Instructor-led Courses may retain the portion paid by the student and equal to the cost of the materials (Not to exceed .

*Provisions CCR 20800.9 provides that prior to charging fees to a notary public, applicant or notary public for an approved course of study, an approved vendor shall disclose the refund policy of the approved vendor.

*UpRisers Incorporated, DBA  $50 Online, Self Study & Instructor-led Courses, shall refund all fees within thirty (30) business days of a scheduled course date to any notary public applicant or notary public who registered to attend our approved course of study if one of the following occurs:

            1.  An instructor fails to appear at the scheduled time, date, and place of our
                 approved course of study;
                                                                  OR
            2.  Our approved course of study is delayed in starting more than fifteen minutes
                 (15) after the scheduled   time, a notary public applicant or notary public
                 immediately informs UpRisers Incorporated of his or  her request for a refund,
                 and leaves the approved course of study prior to it starting.
